Post-Partum Depression Help

Have you recently given birth and find that you are experiencing sadness, excessive worry, obsessive thinking and other feelings you never expected to have?  Are you not feeling the connection to your baby that you had expected?  Are you experiencing changes in your sleeping patterns, having difficulty sleeping, or wanting to sleep more frequently?

Post-Partum Depression can cause many symptoms, as your body goes through dramatic hormone changes following delivery.

Often people feel shame when they experience negative feelings or have challenges after the birth of their baby.  They often question if something is “wrong” with them that they are not feeling or behaving the way they imagined they would.  This can feel very frightening and be very overwhelming.

Please do not continue suffering with this.  Post-Partum Depression is real, and is the result of dramatic hormone changes going on in your body.

Therapy can help to improve your symptoms. Talking about the way you feel is the first step to feeling better and reducing your signs of Post-Partum Depression.

The sooner you seek help, the sooner you will begin to feel results and improved functioning. Please contact me so that we can discuss how I can help you.
